Accomplished Legal Professional Stephen Kubiatowksi

On an extended assignment from his position as an Assistant United States attorney (AUSA) in the Northern District of Illinois, Stephen Kubiatowski currently serves as a white collar crime coordinator with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, DC. Prior to beginning his career as an attorney, Stephen Kubiatowski earned his bachelor of arts from Dartmouth College, summa cum laude, and subsequently completed his juris doctor at the Columbia University School of Law, where he garnered status as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

As an AUSA, Stephen Kubiatowski has prosecuted numerous trial and appellate cases dealing with white collar crime, including various forms of financial and health care fraud, as well cases involving violent crimes and narcotics. In his current position in Washington, DC, he offers counsel pertaining to white collar crime policy and practice for United States Attorneys offices nationwide.

Stephen Kubiatowski’s nearly 20-year legal career also includes a role as an AUSA in the Central District of Illinois, where he maintained dual responsibilities as the professional responsibility and ethics officer. In addition, the experienced attorney previously worked as an Associate Independent Counsel for the Whitewater probe.
